Quick start

Install Belloga, connect a folder and run Claude Code in your first worktree.

  • git: Used to read repositories and worktrees and to commit.
  • Claude Code: Needed for session status and the Belloga harness (work plan guidance, rule injection). Everything else works without it.

Windows installer

You can also download it with GitHub CLI (gh).

Terminal window
cd ~\Downloads
gh release download --repo 1Dohyeon/belloga --pattern '*.exe'

Open the downloaded file to install.

Every version is on GitHub Releases. The app starts in your operating system’s language. Change it in the General tab of the settings, and pick the dark or light theme in the Design tab.

On first launch the workspace shows an Add project button. Click it and pick the folder that holds your repositories. The + button at the top of the sidebar and Add project in the command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P, macOS ⌘⇧P) do the same.

Belloga finds the git repositories and worktrees inside that folder and groups them in the sidebar. See Connect folders for the rules.

Open the Worktrees tab in the sidebar’s Git mode. Click + (Add worktree) next to a repository name to open the New worktree dialog.

  1. Enter a Branch name.
  2. Check the Folder. A default is filled in.
  3. If the repository uses work plans, pick a Task type (Feature, Bug fix, Refactor, Change).
  4. Click Create.

Click the new worktree card to open a terminal tab in that folder. Run claude there, or pick Claude from the New tab menu in the tab bar to start Claude Code right away.

While the session works, its status shows on the worktree card and in the tab title. When it waits for permission you get a notification, and Ctrl+Shift+A (macOS ⌘⇧A) jumps to that tab.

Turn on the plan hook in the Agents tab of the settings. Claude Code sessions started in a Belloga terminal are then guided to write a work plan per branch (requirements.md, design.md, tasks.md). Plans live outside the repository in ~/.belloga/plans/{owner}/{repo}/{branch}.

The worktree card shows the task type and tasks.md progress. Click it to open the plan. See Work plans.
