Notes and graph

Connect markdown notes with wiki links and see the links as a graph.

Belloga treats notes kept outside repositories the same as code, in one tree. Put design notes, meeting notes and work logs in a connected folder.

Write another note’s name like [[note]] in markdown to link to it. Click it in preview to open that note in a tab. Files outside the project are not opened, and a notice is shown instead.

In the sidebar’s Graph mode (Ctrl+Shift+N, macOS ⌘⇧N), click a connected folder to open its link graph in a tab.

  • Markdown files are nodes. Wiki links and relative markdown links are edges.
  • Drag to move and scroll to zoom. File names appear as you zoom in.
  • Hover a node to highlight it and its neighbors. Click it to open the file.

Links in files larger than 1 MB are left out of the graph.
