Templates and rules
Keep the shape of plan documents and the rules added to every session as your own files.
Templates and rules are plain markdown files under ~/.belloga/agents/. Edit them in Harness mode or in any other editor.
Templates
Section titled “Templates”~/.belloga/agents/templates/├── requirements/│ ├── feature.md│ ├── bugfix.md│ ├── refactor.md│ └── change.md├── design.md└── tasks.md- requirements.md has a template per task type (Feature, Bug fix, Refactor, Change). design.md and tasks.md have one each.
- They start as English defaults. Change them as you like, and reset them to the defaults at any time.
Keep the parts Belloga reads so progress and format checks keep working.
- The
type:line in requirements.md - An R-number (R1, R2, …) on each top-level requirement
- The
Status:first line and the top-level checkbox tasks in tasks.md
Each .md file in ~/.belloga/agents/rules/ is a rule.
With the rules hook on, rules are added to sessions started in a Belloga terminal: once when the session starts, and again after the context is compacted or cleared with /clear.
If all rules together get too long (over 10,000 characters), Harness mode warns you. They go into every session, so keep them short.
