Commit and push

Commit staged changes, and fetch, push and pull without leaving the app.

Expand a worktree card in the Diff tab to find the commit form.

  1. Write the Summary (required). Over 72 characters shows a warning.
  2. Add a Description if needed.
  3. Click Commit, or press Ctrl+Enter (macOS ⌘+Enter) in the form.

The commit button turns on once something is staged and there is a summary.

Fetch, Push and Pull buttons sit at the top of the card. Push shows the number of commits to send, Pull the number to receive.

Pushing a branch that has no remote branch yet pushes it to origin (or the first remote) under the same name and sets it as upstream.

The Unpushed commits list shows commits not on the remote yet, with summary, short hash and time.

Belloga does not handle git authentication. Push and pull use the git credentials and SSH keys already set up on your machine. If git push works in your terminal, it works in Belloga.
